A cerimônia do 80ª Globo de Ouro aconteceu na noite desta terça-feira (10), abrindo a temporada de premiações em Hollywood com alguns dos melhores filmes e séries de TV de 2022.
Apresentado pelo comediante Jerrod Carmichael no The Beverly Hilton em Beverly Hills, Califórnia, o Globo de Ouro teve como grandes vencedores da noite os filmes Os Fabelmans, da Universal, que levou o prêmio de Melhor Filme de Drama e Os Banshees de Inisherin, da Searchlight, que ganhou como Musical ou Comédia. Argentina, 1985 foi o vencedor entre os filmes de língua não inglesa, enquanto Pinóquio por Guillermo del Toro foi o premiado entre as animações.

Entre as séries, House of the Dragon foi premiada como a Melhor Série de Drama, Abbott Elementary venceu a categoria de Série de Musical ou Comédia e The White Lotus foi a melhor entre minisséries, antologias e filmes para TV.
Eddie Murphy foi homenageado com o Prêmio Cecil B. deMille, concedido por “contribuições excepcionais ao mundo do entretenimento”, enquanto Ryan Murphy recebeu do Globo de Ouro o Prêmio Carol Burnett por “excelência na televisão”.
